Privacy policy

Last updated: 24 August 2026

This policy explains how The Curve Consulting Services Limited ("The Curve", "we") handles personal data on waytrail.ai. Waytrail is a product of The Curve, and The Curve is the data controller for this website.

Who we are

The Curve Consulting Services Limited, 4 Joiner Street, OXO House, Sheffield, S3 8GW, United Kingdom. Registered in England and Wales, company no. 11843070; VAT no. GB 317 7030 22.

For anything related to personal data, contact info@thecurve.io.

What we collect, and why

Contact form. When you request a demo we receive the details you enter: your name, work email address, job title, company, phone number and message. We use them to reply to you and to follow up on your enquiry. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.

Datasheet download. The datasheet is sent by email rather than downloaded directly, so we ask for the same details: your name, work email address, job title, company and phone number. We use them to send you the download link and to follow up about Waytrail. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in following up with people who ask for our product materials.

Where these details are held. Submissions from both forms are emailed to us and also stored in this website's database, so that we have a record of who has been in touch. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not share the details with anyone outside The Curve.

Analytics. If — and only if — you accept analytics in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: pages visited, approximate location, device type. The lawful basis is your consent. You can decline, and the site works identically. Google may process this data outside the UK under its standard contractual safeguards.

Server logs. Our infrastructure keeps short-lived technical logs (IP address, browser user agent, requested pages) for security and reliability. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating the site safely.

Cookies

We set one cookie of our own: wt_consent, which remembers your analytics choice for six months.

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets its measurement cookies (_ga and related). No analytics cookies are set before you accept.

How long we keep data

Enquiry emails and the matching form submissions are kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any business relationship that follows, then deleted. Email info@thecurve.io if you would like your record removed sooner.

Datasheet download links expire 30 days after they are sent.

Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics. Server logs rotate automatically after a short period.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time by clearing this site's cookies.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@thecurve.io. We respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
